An Investment in the Future

Garden Terrace Sowing Seeds Society

Leave a legacy of care and compassion for generations to come.

For more than 50 years, Garden Terrace has provided financially vulnerable seniors in North Central Washington with safe, affordable housing and a caring community where they can maintain their independence, dignity, and connection to others.

The Garden Terrace Sowing Seeds Society recognizes individuals who have chosen to include Garden Terrace Senior Living in their long-term charitable or estate plans.

Like those who planted the first seeds of Garden Terrace more than five decades ago, members of the Sowing Seeds Society are investing in something they may never personally see: a future in which seniors in our community continue to have a safe and affordable place to call home.

Their generosity also inspires others to consider how their own legacy might make a difference.

Planting Seeds for the Future

A planned gift doesn't have to be complicated, and there are many ways to include Garden Terrace in your long-term giving plans.

Depending upon your individual circumstances, a planned gift might include:

  • A gift through your will or living trust
  • Naming Garden Terrace Senior Living as a beneficiary or contingent beneficiary of a retirement account
  • Naming Garden Terrace as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy
  • A charitable gift arranged through the Community Foundation of North Central Washington
  • A charitable trust, gift annuity, or other planned-giving arrangement
  • Another estate or deferred gift that reflects your personal charitable goals

We encourage donors to discuss planned gifts with their attorney, financial advisor, tax professional, or estate-planning professional to determine which options are appropriate for their individual circumstances.

Why Join the Sowing Seeds Society?

Most importantly, your commitment helps ensure that future generations of financially vulnerable seniors will continue to have access to safe, affordable housing and a community where they can thrive.

Your Legacy. Their Future.

More than five decades ago, members of our community planted a seed — the belief that seniors with limited financial resources deserved a safe, affordable place to live with dignity.

That seed became Garden Terrace.

By planting a seed today, you can help ensure that Garden Terrace remains a caring senior community for generations to come.
