Manager

Shawna joined the Garden Terrace team in 2015 after spending 20 years as an owner and manager of her family’s orchard business. She began at Garden Terrace working in the front office, where she spent several years getting to know our residents and learning the many day-to-day procedures and operations that keep Garden Terrace running.

After years of working closely with residents, staff, and management, Shawna moved into the Manager role, bringing together her previous business experience with the knowledge and relationships she had developed during her years at Garden Terrace.

Today, Shawna oversees the day-to-day operations of Garden Terrace and works alongside staff to make sure our residents have a safe, welcoming, and well-cared-for place to call home. She has a genuine love and respect for seniors and believes our residents deserve not only an affordable place to live, but a community where they are known, respected, and valued.

And after more than a decade at Garden Terrace, there isn't much that surprises her anymore!

Administrative Assistant

Dawn brings warmth, kindness, and many years of caregiving experience to her role as Garden Terrace’s Administrative Assistant. Her organizational skills and willingness to jump in wherever needed make her an important part of our busy front office.

But Dawn truly shines in her relationships with our residents. Her caring nature, patience, and ability to make people feel heard and valued are evident in the way she interacts with residents each day. Whether she’s helping someone at the front desk, answering a question, sharing a laugh, or simply taking a few minutes to listen, Dawn helps make the Garden Terrace office a welcoming place.

Her compassion for seniors and genuine desire to help others make Dawn a wonderful part of the Garden Terrace team.

Bookkeeper

Kami Rosser joined the Garden Terrace team as our Bookkeeper, bringing many years of experience and knowledge to her role. In addition to managing the day-to-day bookkeeping responsibilities of Garden Terrace, Kami is always willing to lend a hand wherever needed. Her helpful nature, positive attitude, and welcoming smile make her a valued member of the Garden Terrace team.

Service Coordinator

Tina serves as Garden Terrace's HUD-funded Service Coordinator, helping residents access resources and services that support independence and quality of life.

She assists residents with navigating benefits and important paperwork, connecting with community and in-home support services, identifying transportation options, and locating other resources based on individual needs. Tina also provides information and referrals to local agencies and programs and is available to help residents navigate challenges as needs arise.

Our Service Coordinator also oversees Garden Terrace's Emergency Pantry, which provides basic food items, toiletries, and household necessities to residents experiencing an immediate need.

Through resource coordination, referrals, and individual assistance, the Service Coordinator helps residents remain informed, connected, and as independent as possible in their own homes.

MAINTENANCE

Carlos is an important part of keeping Garden Terrace safe, comfortable, and running smoothly. He handles general preventive maintenance, resident work orders, minor plumbing and electrical repairs, and the many unexpected maintenance needs that come with caring for our buildings.

Carlos also works closely with Shawna and Dawn to coordinate apartment rehabilitation and turnover, helping transform vacated apartments into fresh, welcoming homes for our next residents.

Known for his strong work ethic and willingness to tackle whatever the day brings, Carlos works hard behind the scenes — and often right alongside our residents — to keep Garden Terrace a well-cared-for place to call home.

MAINTENANCE

Arturo brings a unique combination of maintenance, carpentry, and engineering skills to the Garden Terrace team. He works alongside Carlos on the day-to-day care of our buildings, including preventive maintenance, resident work orders, repairs, and the many unexpected projects that come with keeping Garden Terrace running smoothly.

His carpentry and engineering background are especially valuable during apartment rehabilitation, where he helps repair, update, and transform apartments into welcoming homes for our next residents.

Arturo originally earned an engineering degree in Mexico and has continued his education since coming to the United States. After graduating from Wenatchee Valley College on the Dean’s List, he will continue his studies at Central Washington University — all while continuing to work full-time at Garden Terrace.

We are incredibly proud of Arturo and what he has accomplished, and very fortunate to have his talent, determination, and hard work as part of our Garden Terrace team.

Maintenance Assistant & Cleaning Specialist

Tracy plays an important role in keeping Garden Terrace clean, comfortable, and welcoming for our residents and visitors. She cares for our common areas throughout the buildings and takes great pride in making sure the spaces our residents share are clean and well maintained.

Her hard work doesn't go unnoticed! Tracy regularly receives compliments from residents, caregivers, visitors, and staff about how clean and cared for Garden Terrace feels.

Tracy also lends a hand to our maintenance team wherever needed and is always willing to help tackle the many projects that come with caring for our community.

We are very fortunate to have Tracy and her hard work as part of the Garden Terrace team.
