For over 50 years, Garden Terrace has been more than just a home for our cherished seniors - it's a vibrant community where friendship, care, and comfort thrive in the golden years. Now, we're turning to YOU, our beloved community, with an urgent request to help secure our future.

The Challenge: A Roof in Crisis

Months ago, we received shocking news: the roof of our largest building is failing and must be replaced before winter sets in. While insurance covered repairs to damaged apartments, it won't replace the entire 7,000 sq ft roof. Our initial bids were as high as $400,000, but we've worked tirelessly to secure a more cost-effective, high-quality solution for our seniors.

A Community Rallies

The heart of our community is already shining through! On April 29, Chelan County's Board of County Commissioners voted unanimously to provide the first $150,000 toward our need. Commissioner Kevin Overbay stated, "What Garden Terrace provides is one of the few opportunities for safe senior housing in the Wenatchee Valley." We're profoundly grateful for this leadership and the generosity of all who've donated so far.
